Discontent with the Status Quo?

A growing number of Christians are leaving their churches, not because they are abandoning their faith in Jesus, but because they are discontent with the status quo. We help these believers to rediscover being the Church in a way that is biblically faithful, spiritually fruitful, and happens to be the fastest-growing Church movement in the world.

Why Lampstands?

Like many of you, we spent many years feeling discontent with what we experienced in our churches. Minimal kingdom growth, mismanaged time and resources, and shallow spirituality were only the beginning on the list of experiences that made us wonder, "Is this really what God had in mind for His Church?"

Through lots of searching, prayer, and steps of faith, we discovered a simpler way to follow Jesus that looked like gathering from house-to-house, intentionally making disciples, and cultivating networks of spiritual family. We found that not only was this freer and more fruitful, it was also more Biblical. And it happened to be the fastest-growing church movement around the World.

Over time we became convicted that the conventional church system is at the root of much of the church brokenness that we experience. While we would never say that the solution is simply to change your church system, we do believe that the first step towards something greater is leaving unbiblical practices behind.

We know that we aren't alone in what we have observed and experienced. After years of helping others who are on similar journeys, we realized the need for a bigger voice to reach more people like us: unfulfilled church-goers, hungry for more of Jesus and His mission in the World.

So, we started Lampstands. It is our goal to produce content that provides followers of Jesus with encouragement and support towards a better way of being the Church. Our vision is to see every believer living a lifestyle of simple, Biblical obedience as disciples who are growing in maturity, in number, and in gathering together "all the more" (Hebrews 10:25).

We're glad to have you with us.
